A Project Manager (Audit) for an established financial services hub

Client Details

The Operations & Credit Operations- OneHUB is responsible for creation of a framework to implement centralized and integrated business operations centers on three continents, delivering the most efficient processes to our customers. Our aim is to have the First OPS Hub 'live' with operational readiness reached for pilot markets, designed as a scalable blueprint for Global Operations Hubs.

Working for one of the Must-Wins, you will be responsible for subprojects and a wide range of exciting tasks with a considerable impact on the entire organization.

Description

Plan, lead and manage operational audits Review the adequacy and effectiveness of Internal Control of Inventory Management, Present findings to management, prepare and review audit reports - explaining findings and risks, providing advice and promote implementation of recommendations. Prepare yearly Audit Annual Plan and Quarterly Audit Report (for AC meetings) Perform ad-hoc assignments, such as due diligence and investigations. Performed internal audit engagement for entities across Asia Pacific region. Performed risk assessment for annual audit planning. Conducted interview with Management to deeply understand the business unit objective and target, underlying risks and potential control gaps. Performed risk-based internal audits to evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, aligned with business units and as well as group-based objectives. Manage engagement team as audit lead, tasks included but not limited to identify and allocate tasks, co-ordinate, monitor and consolidate the work of the audit team. Attended meetings with auditee's management to discuss on the audit process and audit work. Developed and discussed findings, recommendations and timeline for corrective action with responsible personnel and/ or control owner. Prepared draft report for the Coach's review before submitting to CAE for his review. Performed follow-up audit of action plan committed by the Management to ensure control gaps of system have been rectified

Profile

Education

Degree holder, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline

Technical knowledge

Good knowledge in MS Office software like Word & Excel Good spoken and written English. Conversant in Cantonese / Mandarin and local dialects (MUST HAVE) Good knowledge of hire purchase an added advantage More of an Audit processor

Work / Industry experience

Preference for candidates from Financial Services/ Banks/ Credit Business Strong leadership, good communication skill, experience in managing APAC stakeholders and mature personality
